If you require emergency treatment when the surgery is closed please contact NHS 24 on 111.

Please note our telephone lines are open from 8.30 am till 12.30 pm and from 2 pm till 5.30 pm Monday to Friday excluding bank holidays and pre- arranged training days.

Triage appointments are available to book on the day by contacting the practice before 11 am.  

The routine telephone lines close at 3.30 pm.  After 3.30 pm we are only available to deal with urgent medical problems which cannot reasonably wait until the next working day.

When We Are Closed

The out of hours emergency service in Ayrshire and Arran is provided by NHS ADOC. This service takes emergency calls for the practice from 17:30 until 08:00 the following morning, and at weekends. Please note that all telephone calls made to this service are recorded.

Please telephone 111 to contact NHS ADOC. This number is recorded on the Practice answering machine.

The NHS ADOC service offers:

  • telephone contact with a nursing sister specially trained to offer advice or to arrange an emergency GP consultation
  • a GP emergency consultation service based at consulting rooms in Crosshouse Hospital
  • a GP emergency home visit service for those who are too unwell to attend the consulting rooms
