Marie Curie Cancer Care is a UK charity dedicated to the care of people with terminal cancer and other illnesses. Over the financial year 2010/11, we reached a total of 31,799 patients

Youth Health Talk

Youthhealthtalk enables young people, their family and friends, and professionals such as doctors and teachers to understand young people's experiences of health, illness and life in general. The website feature real-life accounts of issues such as effect on work and education, social life and relationships, consulting health professionals and treatment.

Flu Campaign 2017 / 2018


Begin Monday 2 October

If you are in one of the "At Risk" groups or are aged over 65 years of age you are eligible to receive a free flu vaccination.

Appointments are now available to book. 

Alternatively you can attend one of the

drop in clinics detailed below. 



Wednesday 4 October 1.30 - 4 pm

Wednesday 18 October 1.30 - 4 pm

All eligible groups excluding nasal flu



If your child requires nasal flu there are appointments available.



Regular immunisation (vaccination) is given FREE OF CHARGE to the

following 'at risk' patients in order to protect them from seasonal flu:


People aged 65 or over

People with a serious medical condition

People living in a residential or nursing home

Main carers for an elderly or disabled person whose welfare may be at risk if the carer becomes ill

Pregnant Women

People with a BMI> 40

All pre-school children aged 2 - 5 years are also eligible to receive a flu vaccination.

NB  We do not give flu injections for occupational purposes these should be provided by your employer.
